Hoq Cave or Hala Cave in
the island of Socotra, Yemen is an amazing tourist destination. The cave
located on a foothill behind the village of Hala east of the island. On
the road to the cave, there is a forest of rare and strange plants, in addition
to birds and insects. To reach the foothill, you need about an hour that
depends on your speed and how many times you stop to take pictures!

Numbers of limestone stalagmites
and stalactites spread in every inch of the cave, those amazing shapes have
been forming thousands of years ago by drops of water falling from the wet
ceiling. The drops also make many small pools all over the cave.
Hoq cave or Hala Cave is
a great place for adventurers and hiking lovers. The total trip takes about 4
hours guided by a local guide from the village for small fees.
Socotra Island (Where the cave is
located) is an amazing and unique island in the Indian Ocean South of Yemen.
This rare island contains many rare plants, trees, insects, reptiles, birds and
animals; many of the creatures in the island of Socotra cannot be
found anywhere on earth except Socotra!
