A shop inside the Grand Bazaar, by: Dmgultekin

In areas such as the Middle East and India, a bazaar is a place where there are many small shops and stalls. The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul one of the major landmarks of Istanbul and one of the largest and oldest (Backs to 1455 ) covered markets in the world, employing about 26,000 people in 61 covered streets and over 3,000 shops , which attract about  9,750,000 visitors every month.  The Grand Bazaar   was built by the Ottoman Empire; its structures were built with wood, but rebuilt in stone and brickwork after the fire of 1700. The Grand Bazaar is the place where you can find practically anything! It is the most fantastic shopping experience in the world!
The Grand Bazaar is a perfect place to buy many goods such as gold, clothes, traditional shoes, bags, textiles,Turkish traditional fashion and more. Many of the goods can be used as masterwork and decoration as well as gifts. The prices are high, so you should not pay from the beginning, a lot of negotiation is required, you should also estimate price and pay what you think is the right price. The Grand Bazaar is a perfect place for portrait photography and tells stories about the Turkish lifestyle, a lot of emotion shots can be captured there in a beautiful light condition and     unique architecture. The place located in Istanbul and easy to get there (About 12 min away from Hagia Sophia), walking, shopping and photographing may take 2-4 hours; the Grand Bazaar is open every day except Sundays .
