Gallery of Socotra

     A gallery about the amazing island of Socotra in the Indian Ocean \Yemen has just completed and launched today Thursday, May 8\5\2014.
Island of Socotra is one of the rarest and strangest islands on earth! With 825 species of thriving plants, more than 221 types of birds, 30 types of reptiles and more! Many of the creatures in Socotra cannot be found in any other place on earth!

This gallery contains many (More than 70) photos of Socotra; clients and art collectors can order the images as framed prints, canvas prints, greeting cards, acrylic prints, standard prints and phone cases. Socotra (The Island of the Dragon's Blood Tree) is an amazing and unique island in the Indian Ocean South of Yemen. This rare island contains many rare plants, trees, insects, reptiles, birds and animals; many of the creatures in the island of Socotra cannot be found anywhere on earth except Socotra! Socotra Island Part1 The Land Of Rare Plants

Discovering new worlds is nice, but discovering rare and strange places is great! if you looking to have this feeling -just like me- then you should travel to Socotra island - Yemen, it is one of the few rare and strange places in the world, where you can find things only in Socotra - like the plant in the photo to the left-  not any other place in the world! This plant grows in rocks , it has a strange shape , the islanders use its leaves   as  treatment for some  diseases. Hoq Cave.. The amazing cave of the charming island!

Hoq Cave or Hala Cave in the island of Socotra, Yemen is an amazing tourist destination. The cave located on a foothill behind the village of Hala east of the island. On the road to the cave, there is a forest of rare and strange plants, in addition to birds and insects. To reach the foothill, you need about an hour that depends on your speed and how many times you stop to take pictures! Inside Hoq Cave The temperature drops once you got to the cave mouth, as you walk inside the cave, it getting cooler and cooler, the same thing with light, where you will find yourself in total dark and dead silence in the middle of nowhere! Numbers of limestone stalagmites and stalactites spread in every inch of the cave, those amazing shapes have been forming thousands of years ago by drops of water falling from the wet ceiling.
