How to Photograph Fireworks?

The use of fireworks on special occasions is one of the most common methods in the world to express the joy. Although the high voice, but the cheerful colors make others happy! Take pictures of those happy moments require some skills, which are what we'll talk about briefly in n the following steps:

1- Do not touch the camera: In photographing fireworks you need to use longer shutter speeds, this requires a very steady camera; use a tripod and remote release to avoid any shaking.

2- Planning: In any direction fireworks will be launched? How much height will reach? Is Traffic attendance will prevent you from photography and framing? All these questions require you to come early to the place, get some information from those who are preparing fireworks, get a high place, the appropriate use of the lens- read our book “how to choose your camera lens”-, and finally use your intuition and get ready before the launch.

3- Try to capture images with a wide focal length, cropping later will be better than capture tight one. However, you may try some zoomed shots and try your luck!

4- Aperture: the ideal aperture for fireworks is between f/8 to f/16.

5- ISO: 100 are fine.

6- Switch off your Flash.

7- Shoot in Manual Mode.
